Every day AIDS takes away thousand human lives, depriving children of their parents, taking away relatives and best friends. It becomes more than a global problem, it is our common disaster.
According to the United Nations Children’s Fund’s report, focused on data from 2005, about 15,2-million children around the world had lost at least one parent to HIV/Aids.

A group of scientists from Princeton University have found out, that the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) which has infected the cells of immune system can be forced to pass in a “sleeping” mode.
The scientists have investigated the chains of the biochemical reactions influencing molecular signals, forcing HIV to start copying themselves.
They have found out that the balance between the synthesis of two fibers (p300 and SirT1) in the infected cell can appear the provocateur that will define the duplication of the virus or its remaining in a “sleeping” state.
The authors of the research approve, that, now it is possible to create a medicine which will hold the found catalyst in the “sleeping” state and a HIV will remain passive in the human body.
